EV Diagnostics is designed to keep cookie use minimal. This page explains the current approach and will be updated if the production service introduces new cookie-dependent features.

First-party cookies

The current public diagnostic pages do not use first-party advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies. Infrastructure providers may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms when required for security, traffic management or reliable delivery.

Third-party embedded content

Diagnostic pages can embed relevant YouTube videos using youtube-nocookie.com. The privacy-enhanced domain reduces ordinary YouTube cookie use before interaction, but Google/YouTube may still receive network and device information when an embed loads or when you play or interact with a video. Their policies govern that processing.

Future changes

If we add advertising, analytics, personalization or other non-essential cookie technologies, we will update this policy and implement any consent controls required by applicable law before relying on those technologies.
